1. Translation is performed by professional translators of corresponding languages. The aforementioned prices include work of translator, editor, proofreader and, if necessary, of maker-up to format a text;

2. The text volume unit of measurement is 1800 characters with spaces. The volume of a text in all cases, when it's possible, is defined according to the original provided for translation, and in other cases using translation text;

3. Text volume of «Eastern languages» translation is always defined using Russian/Ukrainian text notwithstanding the translation direction;

4. Text volume of minimal order is 9000 characters with spaces. The default term of translation is 36000 characters with spaces per day.

Note:

1. The discounts are granted only for translation and editing services provided by native speaker. The extra charges are added to  all types of translation and  editing services;

2. The discounts are granted only for one-time placed order. If orders are placed on different dates, they are not summed up and no discount is provided;

3. The discounts are not granted if there are grounds for the extra charges. The accumulative discounts for patrons and the aforementioned discounts on volume of placed order are summed up;

4. The labour-intensive translation is translation of: texts in handwriting, scenarios, menus, poetry, religious and other similar texts, and texts provided in PowerPoint or illegible ones;

5. The urgent orders are any type of translation and editing performed «to the day» or with speed higher than one provisioned in the notes to particular services. At terms calculations only business days are accounted. The day of receiving order and day of its delivery, as well as state holidays, are not accounted.

2. The obligatory requirement is provision of the original text using which the translation was performed together with the translation text;

3. The translation text for proofreading shall be provided in electronic variant. In case the documents are provided in hard copy, the Client shall be charged for typing;

4. The text provided for proofreading shall be translated completely. In case there will be some fragments without translation found (paragraphs, lines, sections etc.) their translation is performed according to translation services provision pricing. At Client's request all text corrections may be marked;

5. The text volume defining is performed according to proofread text the same way as for translation services;

6. The minimum proofreading order is 5 standard pages. The default term of proofreading services provision is 10-15 standard pages per day;

7. For proofreading are taken only the texts the translation of which is performed on professional level. It means if the text is translated in manner that it's quite faster to have it translated again, the Kyiv translation agency reserves for itself the right to refuse from the provision of proofreading services and to offer to perform a complete translation in professional and timely manner.

2. The obligatory requirement is provision of the original text using which the translation was performed together with the translation text;

1. The make-up proofreading is performed by professional translator of corresponding language and presupposes the proofreading of make-up text compliance with the original using which the make-up was performed;

2. The obligatory requirement is provision of the original text using which the make-up was performed together with the made-up variant;

3. All corrections to be introduced into made-up text are marked by translator in the original text, using which the make-up was performed, or in made-up text depending on Client's request;

4. The text volume defining is performed according to the original text, using which the make-up was performed, and in case of it's absence, according to made-up text, the same way as for translation services;

5. The minimum make-up proofreading order is 5 standard pages. The default term of make-up proofreading services provision is 15-20 standard pages per day.

1. The notarization and company stamp certifying is provided only for the translations performed by Kyiv translation agency proper translators. In case there is a necessity to notarise the translation performed by other translators it's necessary to order proofreading services and its further notarization;

3. The translation notarization price is set for one translator's signature on one document notwithstanding its volume. The services price includes making copy, lacing, printing and other technical works, as well as fee taken by a notary;

4. The Kyiv translation agency stamp certifying price is set per one document notwithstanding its volume. The services price includes making copy, lacing, printing and other technical works;

5. The copy notarization price is set per one page of a document (but not a sheet!) and includes making copy, lacing, printing and other technical works, as well as fee taken by a notary.

1. The aforementioned make-up services are provided in order to format the translated text in compliance with the original. Kyiv translation agency provides no guarantees regarding compliance of the made-up document with the requirements of printing-house and/or any other requirements set forth to the print of the made-up document. In case there is a necessity to perform the complete pre-printing make-up the Client shall provide detailed instructions of printing-house, and the price of such works is agreed in every particular case;

2. The basic MSWord make-up also covers MSAccess, MSExcel and MSPowerPoint and includes only work with certain graphic objects, in particular, substitution of inscriptions over object with inscriptions in different language, and scanning and/or insertion of such graphic object. The unit of measurement of such services is one graphic object;

3. The complete MSWord make-up covers MSAccess, MSExcel and MSPowerPoint and includes not only work with graphic objects, but also work with all other elements (headers/footers, columns, tables etc.). Within this service we prepare a document which appearance complies with the original document. The unit of measurement of such service is one page of the original document;

4. The unit of measurement of AutoCAD make-up is one drawing. We would like to attract your attention that one AutoCAD file may contain several drawings;

5. The unit of measurement of Adobe Acrobat make-up is one page of the original document notwithstanding its text volume;

6. At provision of translation and/or editing services the one copy printing is performed for free. In case an extra copy is necessary, its printing shall be paid;

7. At placing company stamp certifying, translation notarization and/or copy notarization order the printing price is included into the services pricing and will not be paid separately;

8. The courier delivery service is provided for free to patrons of Kyiv translation agency, and also in all cases when an order amounts more than 150 US dollars. In all other cases the courier delivery is provided according to the pricing;

   The courier delivery using express-delivery company includes Kyiv translation agency services regarding sending package to such express-delivery company and filling in of all necessary documents. Kyiv translation agency shall bear no responsibility for the actions/inactions of such express-delivery companies.

1. The documents legalization is performed in the country where they were issued. So the documents issued abroad may not be legalized on the territory of Ukraine;

2. The provided prices include services of Kyiv translation agency regarding studying, submission of documents to state bodies and their receiving, and also all related fees and collections, if other is not provisioned above;

3. The provided terms are approximate and may differ from time to time depending on state bodies performing the legalization;

4. At consideration of documents to be apostilled the justice bodies stick to territorial division. i.å. the Justice department of Kyiv is empowered to apostille only documents issued in Kyiv or notarized by Kyiv notary, and Kyiv oblast justice department — apostilles only documents issued on the territory of Kyiv oblast or notarized by Kyiv oblast notary. Kyiv translation agency do not provide assistance in receiving apostille for documents issued in other regions of Ukraine, but for Kyiv and Kyiv oblast;

5. The Ministry of Education of Ukraine apostille only originals of documents on education issued on the Territory of Ukraine. The apostille of notarized copies of such documents is performed by justice bodies of Ukraine;

6. The civilian registrar's/registry office of Kyiv apostille only original documents issued by regional bodies of civilian registrar's/registry office of Kyiv. The apostille of notarized copies of such documents is performed by justice bodies of Ukraine;

7. At ordering the legalization «up to consulate» Kyiv translation agency provides a Client with document legalized by Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and then a Client on his own submits the document to consulate to complete the legalization procedures;

8. The terms of documents preparation by different consulates vary a lot depending on country and may make from 1 day up to 2 weeks and more. If complete «consulate» legalization is ordered clients support managers of our company will inform you about the terms of documents preparation by a consulate before placing an order;

9. The consulate fee may vary a lot depending on country and may be from  10 up to 300 US dollars and more per document. If complete «consulate» legalization is ordered clients support managers of our company will inform you about the consulate fee for documents preparation before placing an order;

10. The prices are indicated in US dollars including all taxes.

Discounts are applied depending on number of documents submitted one time for legalization (notwithstanding its type):

Note:

1. The discounts are applied only in case of one time submission of a number of documents for one service. It means that:
   (1) if you submit documents gradually, in portions, every portion will be considered for a discount separately;
   (2) if you submit at one time some documents for different services, each set of documents for a particular service will be considered for a discount separately;

2. The discounts are applied to the aforementioned pricing of Kyiv translation services, and are not applied to consular fee.

Note:

1. The units of measurement of consecutive interpreting are one hour (60 minutes) or one day (8 hour workday). The time of provided consecutive interpreting services is rounded up to 0.5 (zero five tenth) of hour. The minimal order is 2 hours. In case an interpreter works for more than 8 hours successively during a day, each extra hour is paid according to by the hour pricing;

2. A Client shall pay for all time an interpreter is at his/her disposal notwithstanding whether he/she is working or having a rest during a break or he/she is performing some Client's tasks;

3. When preliminary acquaintance with interpreter is necessary before the commencement of consecutive interpreting services provision, such acquaintance shall be paid according to standard pricing of consecutive interpreting, but for the cases when a consecutive interpreting is ordered for a long period (See «Consecutive interpreting one time discounts and extra charges» below);

4. If a consecutive interpreting order is cancelled less than 24 hours before stated commencement of works, a Client shall be charged minimal order price;

5. If consecutive interpreting services are provided outside the city of Kyiv and employee of Kyiv translation agency has possibility to return to Kyiv the day the services are provided (Kyiv suburbs), a Client shall provide the representative of Kyiv translation agency with transfer (journey, flight etc.) to the place of work and back at Client's cost;

6. If consecutive interpreting services are provided outside the city of Kyiv and employee of Kyiv translation agency has no possibility to return to Kyiv the day the services are provided (trip to another city etc.), a Client shall provide such employee with transfer (journey, flight etc.) to the place of work and back, dwelling and daily allowance at Client's cost. If the day of departure and return are not the working days of the employee (consecutive interpreting is performed only at destination point), the day of departure and return are paid according to the consecutive interpreting per day pricing. Every calendar day of employee presence at destination point, including time to the destination point and back, shall be paid minimally according the pricing provisioned for full day of work, and in case an interpreter works for more than 8 hours during a day, every extra hour shall be paid according to by the hour pricing;

7. «Escort» category means provision of an interpreter acknowledged with general vocabulary and interpreting general topics. The interpreter does not specialize in any topic and his basic knowledge is sufficient. The examples of such interpreter employment are: escorting a guest in his trip around city, receptionist at exhibition stand etc.;

8. «Negotiations» category means provision of an experienced interpreter acknowledged with the topic of the event and prepared using beforehand provided information. Employment samples: negotiations, business meetings, round table talks, presentations, court hearings, work at exhibitions, including negotiations, chief-assembling and other with 6-10 participants;

9. «Public event» means provision of an experienced and professional interpreter who freely conducts him/herself before photo and video cameras and big audience, acknowledged with the topic of the event and prepared using beforehand provided information. Employment examples: seminars, trainings, conferences, presentations, press-conferences and other similar events.

Note:

1. The discounts are provided taking into account time of work of one interpreter, and not accounting the total time of services provided. It means that if, for example, you hire five interpreters for one day, the price of services provided by each interpreter will be calculated using basic pricing without discounts, but if you hire one interpreter for five days the corresponding discount is applied though the total services provided in both cases is the same;

2. The discounts are provided on condition that an interpreter works within defined period continuously. It means that if you need an interpreter on Monday and Tuesday, and then on Friday and Saturday, such orders will be accounted separately;

3. The extra charge for urgent search is applied only when an interpreter is provided. If we fail to find particular specialist, it's obvious that you have no reason to pay.

Note:

1. The units of measurement of simultaneous interpreting are half a day (4 hours) or one day (8 hour workday). The minimal order is 4 hours (half a day). In case an interpreter works for more than 8 hours successively during a day, the following work hours are rounded up to half a day;

2. The peculiarity of simultaneous interpreting presupposes the necessity of use of some interpreters, a minimum of two, at a time. None of interpreters is capable to interpret alone during an event. In the table the price of one interpreter is provided;

3. In some cases it's possible to provide one interpreter to perform simultaneous interpreting though the duration of an event in that case shall not exceed one hour;

4. A Client shall pay for all time an interpreter is at his/her disposal notwithstanding whether he/she is working or having a rest during a break or he/she is performing some Client's tasks;

5. When preliminary acquaintance with interpreter is necessary before the commencement of simultaneous interpreting services provision, such acquaintance shall be paid according to standard pricing of simultaneous interpreting, but for the cases when a simultaneous interpreting is ordered for a long period and it's negotiated;

6. If a simultaneous interpreting order is cancelled less than 48 hours before stated commencement of works, a Client shall be charged minimal order price;

7. If simultaneous interpreting services are provided outside the city of Kyiv and employee of Kyiv translation agency has possibility to return to Kyiv the day the services are provided (Kyiv suburbs), a Client shall provide the representative of Kyiv translation agency with transfer (journey, flight etc.) to the place of work and back at Client's cost;

8. If simultaneous interpreting services are provided outside the city of Kyiv and employee of Kyiv translation agency has no possibility to return to Kyiv the day the services are provided (trip to another city etc.), a Client shall provide such employee with transfer (journey, flight etc.) to the place of work and back, dwelling and daily allowance at Client's cost. If the day of departure and return are not the working days of the employee (simultaneous interpreting is performed only at destination point), the day of departure and return are paid according to the simultaneous interpreting per day pricing. Every calendar day of employee presence at destination point, including time to the destination point and back, shall be paid minimally according the pricing provisioned for full day of work, and in case an interpreter works for more than 8 hours during a day, every extra hour shall be paid according to by the hour pricing;

9. The factors of successful performance of simultaneous interpreting are:
   9.1. Order placing in advance. For simultaneous interpreting the time factor is much more important than for consecutive interpreting. Highly professional simultaneous interpreters — are in scarce quantity, there are few of them and their schedule is very dense, that is why our possibility to find highly professional interpreter for you directly depends on the fact how in advance do you place an order;
   9.2. Provision of materials for preparation. For successful event a simultaneous interpreter needs to study profoundly the topic to be interpreted, the improvisation necessity shall be reduced to zero, as in comparison with consecutive interpreting, when an interpreter has time to think over a phrase or even ask to repeat, the simultaneous interpreter does not have such possibility;
   9.3. Availability of professional equipment. The equipment plays significant role in provision of simultaneous interpreting services. As a rule, conference-halls equipped with integrated simultaneous interpreting systems are the perfect place for an event with many participants. But if in the hall you rent there is no such system, you may address to a company, which leases such equipment.
